Periods and timezones

Most analytics commands let you choose the date range with --period.

Use a preset period

trackfox analytics --period today
trackfox analytics --period last7d
trackfox analytics --period mtd

Supported periods

You can use today, yesterday, last24h, last7d, last30d, wtd, mtd, ytd, all, and custom.

Use a custom period

trackfox analytics \
  --period custom \
  --start-date 2026-07-01 \
  --end-date 2026-07-10 \
  --timezone America/New_York

Timezone behavior

Custom periods require both --start-date and --end-date.

The CLI uses your local IANA timezone by default and falls back to UTC when it cannot detect one.
